#Urban Ecology:

The relationships between living organisms—plants, animals, and humans—and their urban surroundings shape the foundation of 'Urban Ecology'. In my practice I connect this concept to Postcolonialism, as many foreign species now inhabit our cities. 'Urban Ecology' thus becomes a lens through which to explore for example migration as a political issue from the perspective of flora and fauna, ultimately posing a fundamental question: Where is home?
