The relation of living organisms - plants, animals and humans - with each other and their surroundings in an urban environment: In my practice 'Urban Ecology' is related to the discourse of 'Postcolonialism' because many foreign species now live in our cities. This is for example why 'Urban Ecology' provides an opportunity to talk about migration as a political issue through the perspective of animals and plants and to ask one simple question: where is home?
